Few
know that before Anne Audain was a household name in running,
she was a household name in the homes of grade school
children in the Auckland School District. Anne Audain
always wanted to teach because she believed in giving
children the self-esteem necessary to reach their goals
and dreams. Running became a catalyst for making her dream
of teaching into a reality. Once she recognized her talent
for running, she saw it as a opportunity to reach more
children and adults.
