On January 1^st 1995 Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II conferred on Anne Audain the honor of Member of the Civil Division of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire ( MBE ).
" For services to athletics worldwide"

This is an award that has been given to Elton John, Paul McCartney, Greg Norman and many more.

On October 29^th,1990 Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II awarded Anne Audain The New Zealand 1990 Commemoration Medal in recognition of services to New Zealand.

On March 1^st,1985 the Prime Minister of New Zealand made Anne Audain an Honorary Sport and Cultural Ambassador.

Anne Audain graduated with honors from Auckland Teachers College in 1975 and taught in elementary schools prior to her departure to pursue a sporting career in the USA, March of 1981.
