in New Zealand, Anne found a successful training ground,
both as a person and as a runner, on the hills of Waiheke
Island, outside of Auckland in the Hauraki Gulf.
Coached
first by Gordon Pirie, Anne found her greatest success
in her partnership with Olympian & Coach John Davies (pictured).
It was under John's training that Anne broke the World
Record, and became New Zealand's only female Commonwealth
Games Gold Medalist on the track to date.
