     The Trust was founded/established on Waiheke Island, an island 25 miles off the coast of Auckland New Zealand the largest city where I had spent a lot of my childhood. Throughout my competitive years it was my foundation for training where I spent hours running in it's empowering environment.
     The mission of the Trust is to offer inner-city and "at risk" kids the opportunity to experience this environment while also participating in Outward Bound type activities. This has now expanded to include "off site" classrooms on the island for children that for whatever reasons have been removed from the formal school environment!
