Won 75 races out of 122 starts as a professional racer on the USA road-racing circuit. Road racing career consisted of being in the top 3 finishers 90% of the time.

Won the first prize money event in 1981 changing the status of track and field and road racing from amateur to professional, worldwide.

1981 - 1995 CONTRACTED ATHLETE / CONSULTANT/ SPOKESPERSON for NIKE INTERNATIONAL, Beaverton, Oregon USA.Has her bronze bust on the Nike Walkway of Fame

1993- PRESENT FOUNDER AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR of the IDAHO WOMENS FITNESS CELEBRATION one of the USA's largest run/ walks for women .

EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:

1. TELEVISION AND RADIO ;
2. 1991-1996 Guest Commentator for KXLY -TV Spokane ,WA for the Bloomsday 12k ( 55,000 plus participants ) and Junior Bloomsday event ( 12,000 children.)
3. 1999 Guest Commentator for the Detroit Free Press Marathon .
4. 1982-1992 Guest Commentator for the Revco/ CVS 10k/ marathon ( NBC ) 1982-1992.
5. Has appeared on numerous television and radio shows in connection with all the events that she has participated in.

Guest Presenter at the Women's Sports Foundation Annual Summit in Long Island, New York.

Consultant and Spokesperson for Youth Event and Running Programs.

1981- Present Has given motivational/ inspirational presentations throughout the USA to a wide variety of companies including but not limited to :

British Petroleum, Delta Airlines, Lady Foot Locker, Case Western Medical School, New York Running Festival, Conde Nast , and Nordstroms.

1981- Present Has a strong reputation for her school presentations especially to middle and high school age children.

Founding Board Member of an Indiana Think Tank on International Relations and

Foreign Affairs.
